Q1: Am I able to listen to FM radio on Xda Atom Life?
Answer:
Yes. Tap Start > Programs > FM Radio. You will be required to insert the stereo headset as it acts as an Antenna to receive FM signal.
Q2: I want to record a Radio Broadcast at a particular time, but I will not be free. Is there anyway the Xda Atom Life can record the Broadcast automatically?
Answer:
Yes, please ensure the headset is inserted first before the scheduled recording time. Tap Start > Programs > FM Radio > Menu > Pre-record. Set the time, channel of your choice for the recording.
Q3: What is the file format supported for the recording purpose?
Answer:
Xda Atom Life supports recording format on Radio in WAV and GSM610. By Default, the file will be saved to \My Documents\My Music\ .
Q4: Am I able to record the Radio broadcast that I'm listening to?
Answer:
Yes, Tap Start > Programs > FM Radio. Tap on the "Record" button to start the recording.
Q5: The Radio station I tune in supports RDS (Radio Data System). Where can I configure my Xda Atom Life to use the function?
Answer:
Start > Programs > FM Radio > Menu > Options > RDS1 or RDS2 to configure the settings up to your preference. **Please check with your Radio Station for RDS support.
