Q1: Why can't ActiveSync be installed on my Windows Vista PC?
Answer:
ActiveSync 4.2/4.5 works with Windows XP SP2 or earlier. You must install latest version of Windows Mobile Device Center on Windows Vista.
Q2: My battery drains very quickly. What can I do to preserve power?
Answer:
There are a few settings that you can change on your device that will preserve battery life. Turn off Bluetooth and WiFi when not in use. Adjust the settings for your Backlight by going to Start > Settings > System Tab > Backlight. Turn off any unnecessary audible notifications (email, SMS, etc.) by going to Start > Settings > Personal Tab > Sounds & Notifications. From the Band Switch, change to GSM only if you are not using 3G network.
Q3: How to stop running programs and/or to free up additional device program memory?
Answer:
Goto Start > Settings > System > Memory > Running Programs – Tap Stop All, to free up your device program memory.
